Our Commitment to Sustainability

Holly & Beau is deeply committed to sustainability, with every decision rooted in care for both people and the planet. We believe in taking meaningful action toward a more sustainable future without compromising on quality or creativity.

Our products are made using environmentally conscious materials and processes. This includes organic cotton, which is grown without harmful chemicals and uses significantly less water than conventional cotton. We also incorporate recycled polyester made from post consumer PET plastic, use water based inks, and ensure everything is PVC free and free from toxic dyes.

Recycled polyester made from post consumer PET plastic

Our kids’ raincoats are thoughtfully made using recycled polyester derived from post consumer PET plastic, giving new life to materials that would otherwise end up in landfills. By transforming discarded plastic bottles into durable, high quality fabric, we reduce waste and lessen our environmental impact without compromising on performance.

The result is a lightweight, waterproof raincoat that keeps children dry and comfortable while supporting a more sustainable future. Designed for everyday adventures, these raincoats combine practicality, durability, and eco-conscious innovation in every stitch.

GOTS – GLOBAL ORGANIC TEXTILE STANDARD

We partner with suppliers who are GOTS certified. To meet the Global Organic Textile Standard, materials must contain at least 70% certified organic natural fibres and adhere to rigorous environmental, social, chemical, and quality requirements. This certification covers every stage of production, from initial processing and yarn creation to manufacturing, packaging, and labelling.

Perfluorinated Compounds (PFAS)

PVC and PFAs are often used in waterproof clothing, but not at Holly and Beau. We are committed to using materials that are 100% non-toxic, ensuring that no harmful phthalates are present in our garments or come into contact with your children.

We are proud to be PFC-free, meaning our products achieve water repellency without the use of perfluorinated compounds (PFAS). Instead, we rely on safer, more sustainable alternatives.
